# Overview

[The ilert Model Context Protocol (MCP)](https://github.com/iLert/mcp-ilert) server allows AI assistants and MCP-compatible clients to interact with your ilert account using natural language. By connecting tools like Claude or Cursor with ilert, you can manage incidents and alerts directly through your AI environment. This integration accelerates incident response, improves collaboration, and reduces mean time to resolution (MTTR).<br>
