# Dead Man's Snitch Integration

Save time and reduce downtime by automatically sending [Dead Man’s Snitch](https://deadmanssnitch.com/) alerts to ilert. Any missed cron‑job triggers will create or resolve alerts based on snitch statuses—helping your team stay on top of critical scheduled tasks and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR).

## In ilert: Create a Dead Man's Snitch alert source

1. Go to **Alert sources** -> **Alert sources** and click **Create new alert source**.
