# Level.io Integration

Connecting Level.io to ilert turns Level.io alerts into actionable ilert alerts, routes them to on-call responders, and auto-resolves when the original alert clears – reducing manual toil, speeding triage, and lowering MTTR.

## In ilert: Create a Level.io alert source&#x20;

1. Go to **Alert sources** -> **Alert sources** and click **Create new alert source**.

2. Search for **Level.io** in the search field, click the Level.io tile, and then **Next**.&#x20;

3. Give your alert source a name, optionally assign teams, and click **Next**.
4. Select an **escalation policy** by creating a new one or assigning an existing one.

5. Select your [Alert grouping](https://docs.ilert.com/alerting/configure-alerting/alert-sources#alert-grouping) preference and click **Continue setup**. You may click **Do not group alerts** for now and change it later.&#x20;

6. The next page shows additional settings, such as customer alert templates or notification priority. Click **Finish setup** for now.
7. On the final page, an API key and/or webhook URL will be generated. You will need it later.

## In Level.io: Create a Webhook

1. In the Level.io sidebar, click **Webhooks**.

2. Click **Create Webhook**.

3. Paste the ilert **Integration URL** into the **URL** field.
4. Under **Events to send**, select **Alert active** and **Alert resolve** so ilert can open and auto-resolve incidents.
5. Click **Add webhook** to finish.

## FAQ <a href="#faq" id="faq"></a>

**Will alerts in ilert be resolved automatically?**

Yes, as soon as Level.io sends a notification with event\_type as "alert\_resolved", corresponding alerts in ilert will be resolved automatically.
