# Opsgenie Integration

Opsgenie is an on-call and incident management tool by Atlassian used to aggregate alerts, notify responders, and manage escalations. Since 2025, Atlassian has stopped selling Opsgenie and plans to shut down the platform by 2027. To make [migration from Opsgenie to ilert](https://www.ilert.com/compare/migrate-to-ilert-in-2025) easier, we introduced this integration. With it, you can forward alerts and incident updates into ilert – where you can consolidate routing, apply deduplication, trigger alert actions, and publish status updates.

## In ilert: Create an Opsgenie alert source

1. Go to **Alert sources** -> **Alert sources** and click **Create new alert source**.
