# SigNoz Integration

[SigNoz](https://signoz.io/) is an open‑source observability platform that unifies application performance monitoring (APM), metrics, traces, and logs. By forwarding SigNoz alert events to ilert, you can turn noisy signals into actionable alerts with on‑call routing, escalation policies, and status page updates – helping your team detect faster and reduce MTTR.

## In ilert: Create a SigNoz alert source <a href="#create-alarm-source" id="create-alarm-source"></a>

1. Go to **Alert sources** -> **Alert sources** and click **Create new alert source**.
