# WhaTap Integration

[WhaTap](https://whatap.io/en) is an application performance monitoring platform that detects performance issues in real time. By integrating WhaTap with ilert, every critical event from your services and applications is turned into a trackable alert with on-call schedules, automatic escalations, and rich notifications across channels. This setup helps your teams react faster, reduce noise through alert deduplication, and cut MTTR with runbooks, responders, and status page updates managed in one place.

## In ilert: Create a WhaTap alert source

1. Go to **Alert sources** -> **Alert sources** and click **Create new alert source**.
