This article explains the methods available for resetting your two-factor authentication (2FA) settings in ilert if you've lost access to your device or authentication method.
There are two methods available to reset your 2FA settings:
Option 1: Reset via Account Administrator
Contact another user in your ilert account who has Administrator or Account Owner permissions.
The administrator should:
Navigate to the Settings (gear icon) > Users section.
Select and edit the affected user's profile.
Click 2FA Reset, then confirm the action.
Option 2: Reset via ilert Support
If you cannot use Option 1:
Contact ilert Support by emailing [email protected].
Verify your identity via a short video call with ilert support, typically by presenting valid identification.
After successful verification, ilert Support will reset your 2FA settings.

Always ensure you have backup methods for accessing accounts secured with 2FA.
